I know you wanted the best comments about ponies, however, this comment will remain with me for a long time. It was 1988 (yes, a real long time ago) and I had just imported a gold 1984 corvette. At the time there weren't too many around. I pulled up at a set of traffic lights in Frankston (Vic) with a mate in the car. Two kids (aged about 10 or 11) walked in front of the car with their jaws open and they both said "wow" at the same time. One of the kids turned to the other änd asked "what is it?". "I don't know" was his reply and whilst pointing at the badge on the bonnet said "well it's a chevy, so its gotta be good!". We were in fits of laughter for the next 5 minutes.

While providing the car for a family wedding recently, on arrival at the church about 100 people were goohing and gaahing ( at the stunning bride no doubt ) when one suitably unimpressed old codger piped up................."it's just a bloody Falcon in a party dress" !. Cracked up all aboard and the photographer got lots of happy snaps.

Not so much a comment but when cruising around get a fair bit of cars going past with a mobile phone or camera hanging out the window pointed in our mustangs direction

Yeah, mine gets that a lot, too. Kinda heartening, really, since I was abused for being a smart-arsed showoff, by a bloke in a brand new HSV Senator!. I guess not everyone can be lucky enough (or smart enough) to own a Ford!
