How the censored A do I get the starter motor out? :+

I was underneath the car looking at the where the cable bolts onto the starter and I was trying to work out how I would remove the starter motor. It looks like I would have to remove the drag link from the pitman arm. Does this sound right?

Its purley a thought at this stage. As my original post says I was checking the starter cable and was just wondering how I would get it out. :(

My guess is that its pretty much the same as a 66. Looks like it wont come out, but it will. Just need to find the right angle, but it will come out.

just replaced the starter moter on the 66, can say it was interesting, with the hooker extractors and the cooler line for the auto so close it did take some time, all about about 1 hours to replace.  The lines to the cooler are flixable a little and with a large screw driver and some moving around it looks harder than what, if you need any more information let me know and I will try and help
.. Cheers

Its EASSSY..........All you need is a 9/16 open ender Ring-spanner and hammer a screwdriver a 1/2" open ended ring-spanner a pillow and a jack, Just undo the bolts and the power cable and put the pillow on the floor under the starter and it most likely will fall out! If that fails call me.

In the 65 its quicker and easier to just unbolt your under sump cross member... dont know about the 67-8s...
