Just about every one I've seen has the alignment issue with the bonnet, pulled down more in the middle.

On 6gMustang there is a thread in the UK Section on how to adjust it, probably one of the first things I'll check when I finally take delivery." END Quote

Obviously the photos were not taken by me and were taken by a proffessionel and credits go to the company in the watermarks.

Just about every one I've seen has the alignment issue with the bonnet, pulled down more in the middle.

Is it the bonnet pulled down or the nose squeezed up?

I would expect the panels to line up on a car in this price range. What is Ford AU's response to this. Will the dealer fix alignment faults or is this the quality we are supposed to accept??

Some of the members said the dealers were fixing these but I think only when bought to their attention. I plan to go their with magnifying glass and list of typical problems  :smash:

Have seen this on the GT's as well, also note the left hand corner of the boot, where it meets the rear windscreen on GT's looks like it is angle cut, rather than a nice curved radius.

Prior to pick up my dealer told me "we have virtually had to re-align every panel on some of the Mustangs", and was quick to add that panel alignment on mine was fine, but it did have two small paint blemishes that they would be attending to pre-delivery.

And I have to say, to the naked eye it was immaculate on delivery. My detailer located two pin prick sized issues with the paint (different to the ones the dealer showed me - both requiring to me to lay on the concrete and use a special torch to see. So I was very happy overall.

I watched that clip before I took delivery of my GT back in January & in my sons resto/repair shop we tried the adjustment to no avail (without major bending of bonnet), the contour of the bonnet doesn't match the front bar, a manufacturing fault.
