Hi all
Been restoring my 69 coupe which required a total rear end rebuild. was smashed in the behind very badly and had not much left to salvage of the original panels.
I am at the home stretch however I have met with a challenge. I am building my own quarter to tail light panel filler panels and working off my memory and from alignment of the quarter panel extensions for the tail light panel installation. unfortunately I couldn't take measurements before I started.
Currently having trouble working out if the boot lid seal sits on the tail light flat top lip or meets at the v angle. when I line up everything right from the outside and look through the crack while closing the boot lid, mine misses the flat section and sit on the v angle drop off at the bottom edge.. it all looks right although I am not sure if that is how they are meant to be.
any assistance or pictures from owner cars would be of brilliant support!
thank you David
