'69 Convertible

Have a look at this rather different "69er. It has been for sale for over a year now as I was checking it out last year when I was looking for a car. Looks good & seems to have a lot of interesting features but there has to be something seriously wrong with it for it to sit for so long.

Fair bit of work done on that car. It does look nice.

I've seen it a few times. Guess it just doesn't push anyone's button.

Personally I like the car overall, mbut not a fan of the chrome front bumper/painted rear bumper combo, the rear spoiler, the 1970 indicators or the bonnet push locks. Red on glovebox is a bit strong, but other than that I really like the interior.

Looks nicely done, could have taken a bit more care with the top for the photos, does not look that flash.

As a pretty baseline '69 H code (351-2V) restomod at $50k there are a lot of other more collectable 69/70s out there in that price range.  But you would have ahrd toiime making it for that money so if its your view of "cool" then worth it for someone who wants a turnkey driver...

Yes, I'd go along with your comments mert. Someone has thrown a sh!t load of money at it. With our exchange rate now you'd be looking at around AUD$67k + import which makes it an expensive toy.

Here is another nice convertible that I was also looking at last year & it too has sat idle for over a year. These people (Fraser Dante) have some really nice cars in their inventory.
