So my car is the one on the top I've got 17" Shelby diamond cut wheels and I'm thinking of going magnum 500s with the BF Goodrich old school white lettered tyres, which do u prefer

If you decide to sell let me know. Or if you want another old school look compared to the 500's I have american racing torque thrust 2's with new bf goodrich tyres, but they're 15's. We can swap  :smilies:

In 90% convinced I'm selling, the Shelby wheels I got here are in immaculate condition not a scratch with z rated tyres at approx 80% tread all round, probably only been driven on for 4 months, casual once a week driving that is

They both look nice,

On your car Al, the Shelby wheels make it a one of a kind so to speak, looks awesome.

The magnums on you car, I think would make it look like just another mustang, but as they say, it's a personal choice, go with the wheels you like, as you have to be happy with it, you own it.

If Husky doesn't buy the Shelby wheels, let me know, I may be interested.

Cheers
Keith

Damn magnums are nice though

I get what your saying Keith, a lot of people say that's what's making it different but they are just not fat enough, unless I put big tyres on it which apparently won't fit

Both look good  :thumb: . Magnums are a bit more old school and with say T/A BFG tyres are a classic look .  You can fit a 15x8 on the back but with the right offset and a 235/60 tyre .  I have magnum 500s on my 66 coupe and on my 70 Mach 1 .

What is the width of your rims and tyres?

Lokos quite nice that thick!! I was planning to putting on some 17' Torque Thrust as well but might revert to 15's

I don't have the car with me, but I think they are 215's and 225's on 15x7. They are basically new and I love them, but my stang is being transformed into a 'modern' daily and the 15's really limit my tyre choice, as I want very good tyres on a daily

Buy the magnums and keep the others also ,problem solved . :smile01:  I have magnum 500s on my 66 and sometimes I run my std rims and HUD caps .then on my 70 I run magnums but I also have 17 inch torque thrust 2s  ,best of both worlds  :thumb: .

Its personal choice...the shelby look good I was going to go that way but decided on 15 x 8 styled..Ive never been a fan of white lettering but saying that on some cars like the fast back and later 69 /70s they look good

My other car is a Mustang ( ok I lied this one cost me enough)

Let me know when you can check on your car as they seem wider than 215....also where are you based? You want to sell or exchange?
