Left hand drive regs in Vic.

Hi everyone,

This may be a newbie question, but what are the current regulations on registering a LHD car in victoria?

I am looking to buy a mustang, but don't want usage restrictions due to it being LHD and have to pay for a conversion

I have seen posts mentioning the rules have changed recently regarding cars 25 (I think) years or older, but i can only find information on the Vicroads website from 2000 (typical!!)

Are you still restricted to a club license and restricted usage for LHD cars less than 30 years old?

Any info would be appreciated.

(sorry if this is in the wrong section, but it's my first post)

I also believe you cannot drive a LHD car in Vic if you are on" P" Plates.
