Sunday March 2nd will be the Shannons Canberra Mustang Show & Shine.

Held on the same venue as the Nationals last year.

Here is a Flyer

Canberra is just a quiet drive along the highway - 2 1/2 hours from Liverpool. To get to the venue drive straight into Canberra. When you cross the lake (Commonwealth Bridge), veer to left lane and take the first exit after the bridge (King Edward Terrace). Turn right at the 2nd Street, Parkes Place and there is the venue.

Would you please let me know you are coming so that we can allow for entrant trophies (regncarm at netspeed com au).

Plenty to see in this area if you are into the tourist bit.

We look forward to seeing a lot of Mustangs.

A few Sydney members will be arranging a trip down on Saturday, over night at the Pavillion and then off to the show on Sunday. More is being arranged including some sight seeing and a good night out - Canberra is not TOO cold at that time of year.

Hi Folks
Who wants to come on the Sunday morning?
Meeting at 5.45 and leaving around 6am from the Pioneer Tavern, northern road Penriff ( near the colonel's house, KFC ). Down the northern road to narellan and onto the M5.
Then stopping for a quick top up for the thirsty ones (petrol Coffee) at the Mobil service center at Phesants Nest on the M5 south bound at 7am which is B4 the Bargo turoff but after rhe Picton turnoff, and then next stop is Canberra at around 9 am.
Let me know who wants to come, only so we dont leave without you.

Hi there day trippers to the show in Canberra.

How to get there:

All you have to do is drive straight into Canberra. When you are on the bridge, get in left lane and take the first turn immediately after the bridge. Then take 2nd turn on right and there your are. There are 2 entrances to the lawns on your left. Take the 2nd entrance. There will be parking guys to help you.

Have a safe trip and see you when you arrive.

The weather here in the Southern Highlands is very ordinary. Rain & freezing. I thought it was still summer ?? :_
Reg will there be public transport available from the lawns on Sunday for the wife to go shopping ? Or should I leave her at home? ;]

I think there is a public bus that runs into town. Not very often though.

I have been watching the weather over the past week. While it is cloudy with some very light rain at the moment, the forecast is for a fine weekend with sun and 23 degrees for Sunday. So, there you go, good weather, good day, and have a good and safe journey to Canberra.

There will be pics posted of the show, probably in Photobucket. I have an early appointment at day surgery on Monday and probably will not post until Monday night (depends on how much pain I have). I am sure others will be posting pics somewhere.
