Looking for a stock rebuilt 289 windsor in nice running condition with little or nothing left to do. recent rebuild would be ideal.
I'm in Adelaide so I need the engine to be stock to pass inspection.
My car was built June 21st 1965 and would be great to get a block that suites this time period, it is also an A code with the 4 barrel carby, correct colours would be black engine with gold air cleaner and rocker covers but if there is a nice running stock engine in another colour I could work with that.
I do not mind if engine is located interstate but obviously it would be good to inspect first.
Let me know i you have heard of anything out there for sale.
