QLD 2015 All Ford Day
« on: July 07, 2015, 02:40:22 pm »
Ok, July 19th Willowbank raceway, all ford day.

https://www.facebook.com/pages/All-Ford-Day-2015-Southeast-Qld/411118919047887

http://www.willowbankraceway.com.au/events/detail.aspx?EventGroupID=90

I'm not in the MOCA Qld (yeah, I know, I know... slack), so my questions are:

Is this a club run? [qld branch page just describes it as 'event of interest']

How do you pre-register? Or is it just a show-up, first in, best dressed kind of thing?

[sadly, I need to take my fastback along and put a for sale sign on it   ]

Aaron.

I  don't know if it is a MOCA Qld run but you can just turn up at Willowbank on the day and pay your entry fee.
If GLENN70 is well enough to go, I will be going as well, if he is not well enough it will depend on who else is going whether I bother or not.

Doesn't look I can go BUGGER . If you are going make sure you get their early as if gets packed and you won't have a choice where you park . At the gate ask to park with the mustangs / mustang club so you guys are all together . Great day with a few events going on inc drag racing . If any one wants to race take long pants ,long sleeves .covered in shoes and a  helmet with the Aussie standards sticker on it .

If the weather is OK, I may take both cars up - the admission price is very reasonable too - unlike two days of chunder !

I just paid $3,146 for a new transmission ==> so I'll give the 1/4 mile a miss

Haha you know I am. This is going to be a expensive weekend for me. It's all booked in will try and have the box back in Thursday. do you have any experience with them hydrolic throw out bearings bit nervous with that as if I don't get the depth right I'll have to pull the box out again to shim it. I'm cutting it close that for sure

I  will be going,  I will have to try and find someone to video you racing Ryan.
It will be interesting seeing Ryan with his 500+ Hp engine and new big exhaust against your 430 Hp engine  and stock tranny with a small stall converter especially with both cars being very similar weights.

I  don't  stir the pot that's to slow I use an electric mixer.
You will  have to  watch to make sure Ryan isn't unbolting your stock  air cleaner, Gees there big bloody  thing's, you could hide heaps  in there and no one would be the wiser.

I think I'll head along regardless, but if it is raining I won't take the 'stang.  There's also a show & shine at Rocklea.

Jezz no pressure at all. That's alright I packed my lunch too I just don't need a air cleaner to hide it  :thumb:
