Sydney Retro Speedfest 2015

A big thankyou to the members and their guests that attended The Sydney Retro Speedfest at Eastern Creek Raceway yesterday.
With a brisk and very foggy start to the day ,the race schedule was delayed for half an hour or more but once the sun finally broke through it was a perfect day weatherwise.
With 13 Mustangs and a Cobra replica lined up in `The Car Club Corral` display along with full pit access and some fantastic racing throughout the day, it was certainly a great day had by all. The Shelby Boys Racing Team fielded a line up of 9 awesome race cars with some good results with a great mix of other makes and models making up the numbers across the various classes.

The NSW State Government have recently spent a fair amount of taxpayers money on the entire race complex ,complete with the name change to `Sydney Motorsport Park`as to which most of us up here still know it as Eastern Creek or just `The Creek`.
It is a great viewing track and with this meet along with `The Muscle Car Masters` event held on Fathers Day each year ,we as MOCA (NSW) Members through the club get the privilege of the entry along with the displaying of our cars, always a great day out

  Nice pics Matt, thanks for sharing -  looked like a great day. Look forward to the next Fathers Day 'Muscle Car Masters' - hopefully get a ticket and the weather is an improvement on last year.
