RHD conversion inspection?
« on: January 06, 2008, 12:04:45 pm »
Hi,
looking at buying an 1996 saleen mustang as a daily driver that has been converted to RHD.  I have only ever owned LHD 64 1/2 mustangs so know nothing about what to look out for when inspecting a RHD conversion on "modern" cars.  Can someone please let me know what to look out for to decide a quality conversion versus a cheap conversion?

Secondly, anything to look out for on 1996 mustangs?

thanks

-Darren

Well Darren Mustang Australia are the authorised Saleen Dealer in OZ so if it was done by them it would be done right and would have a compliance plate on the firewall, If not i think crossover conversions down in Melbourne are the other ones who do current style Mustangs. If you have the VIN number it might be worth a call to see if and when they did it.
