Ok so I thought I should introduce myself - Hi my names Scott I'm from Brisbane and am the proud owner of a Candy Apple Red 66 GT coupe.

Had XY's years ago but then wives houses kids etc came along and away went the XY as a daily drive. Years later and the wife - god bless her suggested we should look at another weekend car!
So that lead us to our new pride and joy - she was a one owner black plate California car that we have full documentation for dating back to the original delivery paperwork and all rego papers from delivery through til 1983 when the car was taken off the road and stored.
It was imported as one of two 66 GT's by a member of MOCA in Canberra who had the car stripped back to bare where there was zero rust found and then resprayed and fitted with a new white interior. factory air is fitted to the car as was power steer but I have removed this as it was way too light and it leaked more than I cared to keep fixing
It is an A code 225hp four barrell 289 but driveline is pretty much all stock.
I am i the process of joining the Qld owners club and we went on the recent run up to Toowoomba which was a blast - 35 odd Mustangs cruising up the highway from Brisbane looked awesome!
