Looking forward to it Keith - there hasn't been any shows for a couple of months and I missed this last year (damn motorcycles!) - starting to have withdrawals. Will have to give the car a wash!

Yes mate, my wife and kids have wrapped me in cotton wool this Xmas period! Little do they realise that my permanent reminders are enough to make me think twice before trying anything risky.

But it's nice to be loved!

Some start from 6AM - to set up stalls and grab the best possies!

Most will arrive between 7:30 and 9:30 with gates closing at around 10AM.

The stragglers at 10AM do not get too many spots to choose from and will miss out on the bag at the gate which includes the attendance plaque.  I guess there is an expectation of 600 or so cars this year.

If you are coming up from Kiama, it looks like an early rise for you.  Be sure to bring the block out, a hat and water as it gets hot on the shopping centre top deck.

See you there.

Any entrant knowing that they would have to leave the show early ,please let the gate attendants know upon your arrival. There will be allocated show parking spaces closer to the exit gates for this purpose. All in the interest of public safety being No. 1 with huge crowds of entrants and spectator's alike expected on the day.
Judging is between 10.00am and to be completed around the 2.00pm mark with the presentation to follow. Your car must be displayed between these time to qualify for the trophy categories on the day.
Show car entry is $15 with spectators free.

I always leave after about 2 hours whether I take my car or not....been 4 times in 6 years, twice as a spectator & twice with my 66....too bloody hot (although there is the mall if you take the better half & your wallet). This event is fantastic, but if it was held in the cooler drier months like June, I'm sure it would be a MUCH bigger success both with participants & spectators. (this foto was 2009, one of the cooler years)
If you haven't grown up & matured by the age of 55, (65 now & nothin has changed) YOU DON'T HAVE TOO.....Gary

Agreed. It's usually 250,000 degrees up there on the concrete.

Hi, I am thinking of coming to this car show. I will have to check with the wife first to see if she has any other plans for us on Sunday. If she has not, I will ask her if we can come. Do I just turn up, or is there a entry form that I have to fill out first?
Jack

G`day Jack,
It would be great if you guys could make it on Sunday as it is always a fantastic day as we are expecting over 500 American built cars to be on display along with Trader stands.
Just turn up mate, there is a entrants fee of $15 per vehicle with spectators free. All money raised on the day goes to The Westmead Children's Hospital fund which is always a very worthy cause.

Hope to see you there,
Cheers
Matt

Hi Rick, weather is a slight possibility of a late shower, there is wet weather arrangements in place, and the event will go on should it rain, one floor down in the undercover carpark.

Looks like the '68 coupe won't be there - was sent the wrong power steering pressure hose to repair the OE power steering unit and unlikely to get the replacement in time.

This is one show I still haven't been able to get the '68 coupe to, only been as spectator.
