I went around to see it last weekend. An old school friend has it. He's a good fella, he is happy with his purchase.  It needs a lot of work, lots of little jobs. It looks like it was slapped together quickly to look good in photos. He was aware of this before he purchased it. He has it set up in his shed and is going to take his time and plug away at it. The latest job has been re-doing the turbo pipework and getting it all hpc coated. I will try to sign him up to the club

Good to see this car over here.  Would love to see a thread on it if for no other reason for Matt to follow her.

Yes, the word slowly leaked.... K-OTIC is in Victoria

The new owner contacted me and wanted the car. We discussed the car in great detail and I did multiple videos on it...mainly the things that I still needed to attend to. I put him in touch with Glenn Everitt (Man & Machine TV) and Jeremy from Image Classic cars who had physically seen the car and driven in it before we even discussed the price.

We agreed on a price and then I took off $15,000 to accommodate the little pi55y things that still needed to doing to the car. I thought that was very reasonable. Mainly BS stuff. Those one piece "65/66 concept one piece windows" were the main concern as they are just k-rap. I still supplied the old ones though. Jeremy spent one whole day trying to get the drivers side to work and it seemed a waste of time

I gave the new owner a list of things that I still wanted to do to the car (or needed doing) so he could see prior payment if he wanted to tackle them. The exhaust between the turbo's needed a flex pipe, exhaust would need to be extended to rear for Ozzie rego, Upper RH control arm bracket for shock needed adjustment, wiring under dash needed to be fitted back in flex pipe again (we had to chase a wire on the side of the road in St Augustine for a photo shoot and never re-wrapped it)

Front window chrome was not fitting correct and sticking up a bit on the corner, the interior/dash & centre console needed to be fitted up tight again after we fitted new carpet before the mustang 50th. The air line to the front shock was cut on a ever so slight angle and leaked over time (needed to be cut perfect to rectify) Fuel and trans lines needed brackets fitted

A basic list of lots of small things but I felt he should know about them all

Do I miss the old girl?....hell yes I do.

It was a very fun car to cruise however it sat in the corner for 364 days a year...It would be the car to own when I can retire from this lifestyle of living on a plane and rental cars as my mobile office and have the time available to take care of these things

I still have the original door tag and owners manual from the first owner here so Im gonna drop them off to him in January when were over

Looking forward to being back home again

That really is a pissy little list, if he puts his head down and bum up he would have that sorted in no time, I for one would be stoked to see that car in the flesh and hopefully in the not to distant future........ K-OTIC   :thumb:

I would really like to know how this vehicle got an import approval to enter this country. From what I have read of the modifications on this car, it shouldn't and by rights wouldn't qualify, as it would require an Engineer's report or VCSSC inspection and report.
Either way, it will most certainly require an Engineer's Report for Registration!

Might have to get the Caretaker back onboard and get the Blitz team back together to finish this car off Johnno...

Last I heard the owner was doing things at a pace he is OK with. Think it was on club permit at some stage but I will try to get an update to see where its at. It is certainly a looker and created a lot of interest when we knew it was here in Gippsland.

Not sure what the comments on Import approval are about. You can import pretty much anything other than Guns and drugs.
Registration once here is another question......
