Procar Rally seats in 66
« on: September 11, 2014, 10:45:52 pm »
Wanted to ask are people reusing/modifying there original  seat tracks with the pro car seats to keep them as low as possible? I hear the adaptors you can purchase raise the seats too high?

Any advice on what you have done is appreciated.

Cheers

I have the procar seats with the mustang tracks welded to them.
Great seats and very comfortable

I bought them that way off a NSW club member. Didn't really have to touch them.

I have them in a 65 with the procar seat rails and adapters, I have them set on the lowest setting and they are fine...
I'm 186cm tall according to my license and love these seats, one of my favorite upgrades.

They look great Snake!

So I just dummied up the original seat sliders and the holes mount up perfectly to the procars, which means will bolt straight in?

I used the procar rails and got these adapters
http://www.speedwaymotors.com/Procar-Seats-81266-1965-70-Mustang-Seat-Adapter,52274.html

You can't use the original rails without some kid of welding or modding, the procars mount different to the stock seats

I got my adapters from summit

Can I ask if people have made their own adaptors so the original sliders are used post some pics if possible?

So the floor pan holes are 345 appart and the seat mounting holes are 375 appart. So 30mm wider then floor pan holes.
