If you are referring to Barry Burt?
Barry sold it quite a few years back.

I remember a hunch back guy owning Hume Performance.

Was never the kind of guy that came across to me as willing to talk. Always felt like "buy something and get out" when I was there.

Barry is the guy I'm thinking of. He had some 715 Holley's, a mate of mine got about 3 from him some time ago

All I can say they over charged me to overhaul a holly and I had to take it back three times still could not get it right.
Took it to a local bloke the idle circuit was all blocked up so they get 5 raspberry from me.

The guy you are referring to with the back issue  is Peter. He never owned Hume Performance.
He now works at Rocket Industries.

Yeah thats right hes at Rocket now. He was a cranky old bastard but the guys there now are heaps helpful.

Ive had all my carbs overhauled by them, all ran perfect and price was cheap.

Getting one of my cars dyno tuned there next month, can't wait.

I thought it was his business.

Maybe the hunchback problem makes him uncomfortable to be around people and so he is like that.

Either way, never had product problems even when I dealt through him. Was just atmosphere felt weird.
