I've done the drive before to bring one back..  but thought that there might be somewhere to ship from over there.

I've used AutoEzySearch many times also.

Pam & George - very reliable, trustworthy. They ship from both sides of the US......

One bit of warning though.... No matter who you use, avoid getting a stopover in China if you want to see your car inside 3-4 months.

Tell them Jim with the White Stang convertible sent ya. They'll never forget me.

Where abouts do they have a holding yard or somewhere to hold the car whilst the approval papers are going through from this end?

I chose to use Tranzit Express from LA Sydney ($2550).
Their communication was terrible. Shipping was via China. Total time from delivery in LA to arrival in Brisbane ( had organised Sydney with them) was 82 days as against their sales pitch of 35 days. They without my knowledge trucked it from Brisbane. I was told not to use shippers who transit through China. I should have listened. Wont use them again despite the cheap price.

Yes, LA is not a problem for me..the problem is its on the West coast..

Hence the reason for me looking for someone on the East coast...

I looked extensively into it as I am importing my Stang from South Carolina. After looking at all the options I chose to land transport it to LA with Blue Highways. They were great and I would highly recommend them. I then used Gold Coast Muscle Cars to ship it from LA (to Brisbane). This wasn't the cheapest option but it was the best service and very prompt.

Basically I could only find slow boats (via Asia). I wanted my baby to spend as little time on the water as possible.
