I recently received the MARTI Report  for my 67 Mustang GTA Fastback. The report indicated that my vehicle was ordered with 'Tinted Glass' as feature at the time. My question is, how can I tell whether my vehicle has the original glass still fitted (other than the obvious). Is there a way of telling whether the glass that is in the car complies with the 'Tinted Glass' specs of the original car. Looking at the car, it certainly doesn't look like the Glass that is in it is tinted.
Should my glass not meet the original requirements, is there anywhere I can get something that would take the car back to as close to original as possible?

Thanks in advance for help that any other members can provide.

put a piece of paper behind the glass and look through the glass.
does the paper look greenish?
if so, then its tinted.

tinted windows were part of the package for factory A/C.

if it doesn't have tinted glass on there and you want to bring it back to close to original then have a look at

The original factory installed glass will have 'Carlite' stamped on it. The tinted glass is called Sun-X and has a light green tint.

Thanks guys,

Looks like I have clear glass in the car and will need to look at replacing it at some point soon. When the cash becomes available of course.

Yet again the forum comes through, Cheers.   :flag:
