The GCMCA are meeting at the BP Cometa for a 7:00 departure time most people will be there around 6:30, Glenn should be there around them as well unless he is going up earlier to set up in the club area,  You are quite welcome to come and join up with us at the BP and cruise up with us Ryan.

Finished a couple of things needed to bring my car to 100% condition yesterday and gave her a polish today in readiness.
Parked out of the garage for 10 minutes and experienced the local fauna crapping all over it from a great height, so had to wash part of it again ... ain't nature wonderful!
Picked up my sticker from Ross yesterday and will be going the back way from here via Boonah turn off, so see you guys there.
Just saw the forecast Rodney so hope they are wrong. (as usual).

Thanks Lee that was good ,but boy was my car off the pace yesterday .I only had a couple of runs 13.0 @108mph ,and a 12.81 @108 ,no traction yesterday at all 2.2 sec 60 footers  :wtf: and only 108 mph from 113mph .Track temp was 38 deg ,boy was it HOT . Had to leave because of the storms coming ,didnt make it home coped it then when i got home my battery in my remote control went flat, and could not open the garage door and no house keys to get in .Lucky no hail but rain my god RAIN ,ended going to my mates house and getting a new battery for the remote ,it worked .Putting house keys on that key ring now .

You only got 2 runs in, you must have been cueing for ages glad I got scared of taking mine out and throwing more belts.  You could have called me about the remote if you got stuck that bad, Perry literally closed his garage door and down it came but I had a whole 10 mins before it hit my place.

I will wait to June for our club time and hopefully have the belt throwing issue resolved by then.

I went for a walk to take a look at all the other toys there and by the time I came back Glenn had already gone and cued up, saw his first run and I thought his car was going extremely well for a 289 with a high performance distributor I should have lined up and see how my stock 302 with a chrome dipstick and fuel line went but I was too scared.

As the glove-box was still out of the dash while I finish off the a/c stuff, I didn't run my GTO because you guys would have accused me of unfair weight reduction. LOL
Sorry I missed you Lee ... didn't see you anywhere. Is your car back on the road?

Not on the road yet Peter, I'm hoping maybe late this year,
I didn't know you had bought another GTO, I knew you were selling the Park lane

Gee Lee, it will be welcoming an old lost mate when she finally gets back on the road.
Yes a collector with 40 cars bought the Park Lane. It was an exceptional car but having to garage it in a shed 5 kms away and worrying about rats I decided the best thing was to sell it. Only lasted 2 days from when Unique Cars" hit the newsagents.
Was looking for a 69 Mach 1 or a 63/4 Galaxie when I stumbled across this rust free Texas 70 GTO 455, RA 111, 4 sp Muncie, 12 bolt.
