Right hand drive conversion kit for 1964-66 mustang on gumtree. Looks pretty good for the price considering what you get.

Not much response to this one so let me put my 2 cents worth in.
I am in the finishing stages of converting a 66 vert to right hand drive for a customer. This is the first time I have done this and probably the last because the amount of labour and attention to detail that is required to do such thing. People have absoultly no idea what goes into taking on a task of this nature. It is not only reversing the dash, bolt in a Falcon steering box, some tie rod ends to suit and off you go. My ass...... How about hand brake , throttle linkages, wiring harness, brake pedal ratio, brake booster arrengement. These are only some of the hidden extras. Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to put these ebay sharks down but be careful before rushing in with your bid.
By the way some of you may recognise who I am because I happen to fix Mustangs for a living......and loving it.
Cheers, SMS.

I've heard people say that the only reason people don't convert them over for Australian roads is because they run out of money by the time they fix everything else up. I had the chance to buy a rhd but I wanted a lhd.
