030 stamped into the pistons
« on: November 02, 2013, 04:34:04 pm »
Hey guys,

Just pulled the heads of the 289 and cleaned some carbon muck from the top of the pistons and saw stamped on them 030 and below that P7006. I'm guessing the 030 means that they are 30 thou over? No idea what the P7006 means any ideas? Could it be a part no?

Cheers anfo

Anfo, yes on both.  Brand name might be cast inside somewhere.
