WTD To borrow SE MELB

im taking my car off the road for a few months whilst it gets painted among other stuff.
i need to borrow a 8 inch diff centre to install so i can keep the axles in and keep it a rolling shell
as my centre will be off getting some work done, or is it safe to put the axles in without a centre?

Just go to Clark rubber and get a length of hose to slip over the 2 axels long enough to keep them up right in the middle. You only pushing it around so won't do any damage . That's all I did Rob while the 9" centre was getting built... $5 fix mate
