"Over and above" parts delivery.
« on: September 07, 2013, 11:19:13 am »
We've had threads here before about poor service from couriers etc so I thought I'd share an unbelievably positive experience for some balance.

FedEx left a note on my door, no-one home, can we leave the parts when we come back etc. Reluctantly I signed for them to be left at the side of the house (never keen on that idea but I didn't want to miss them again).

Got home that night, checked the side of the hiouse - nothing. Looked a little further then spotted the corner of a box just poking out behind a spare wheelie bin. The FedEx guy had squeezed through the tight gap between my trailer and the old pool slide, gone down past the water tank and discreetly put the boxes behind the old bin away from prying eyes about 20 metres from the front of the house.

Now that's very high customer service, well and truly above and beyond what I'd expect.   :thumb:

500%, Fedex is a brilliant company in my books,
Ive been in Transport for 21 years , and i did a stint during that time
third partying for them.
Brilliant company, and litterally best transport company i ever worked alonside  with,
and be mindfull .... i saw everything that no one sees....

Ive been using them this year to transport parts from USA,
i just cannot fault them whatsoever, be-it their treatment of my goods,
their communication, their staff on the phone, their computer tracking system, their drivers etc.

ie. i just cannot speak more highly of them aswell .

Absolutely Macka. The guy deserves a pat on the back, it'll be done.
