Guys ( and girls ),

Please be gentle with me as this is my first time.

Can you recommend a quality car cover that will still provide good ventilation, whilst resisting moisture and not damaging the paintwork in any way.
It is for a 66 coupe.

many thanks,

Whnnie

Hi Whnnie,
Good quality car covers are available from Supercheap Autos (believe it or not). I got mine for under $60.00 but it is not waterproof only good as a dust cover 'cause my car is kept in the garage.
It fits very weel widthwise and reasonably well lengthwise and has good ties and is well made with double stitched seams.
If you want to buy a tight fitting cover designed specifically for your Mustang, they are available but will cost you about $400.00 and I don't believe they are much better than my cheaper one.

PT,

Thanks for the guidance on the car cover.

The old girl is garaged also. Just being a little over protective.

Will follow up on your suggestion. Am going away and wanted to ensure the old girl was in good shape when I get back.

Many thanks,

Whnnie

I have an Autotechnica cover for my old girl and use it when the car is parked in the elements when on overnight trips etc. It is waterproof  with ventilation flaps and lined with a soft cotton type of material. The outside waterproof coating is silver in color and it cost me about 120 bucks from Repco a couple of years ago.

Pete,

The autotechnica cover you described.

Where did you source it?

Pete,

Apologies. You did say Repco on your reply.

Cheers,
