Born in Wollongong NSW (port Kembla to be exact)
lived there till I was 7. Then lived 2 years in Europe and returned to Wollongong when I was 9.

When I was 10 we moved to Melbourne. Suburbs include Thomastown, Fawkner, mill park, south morang, epping, Taylor's Hill with my wife, and now close to town.

My parents did move around a fair bit when I was young.

I was born of a very young age in Malta, migrated to Australia when I was 2 with my 2 brothers, 4 sisters and parents. Started in Girraween, I often wondered while I was a kid some folk would call me a WOG! Then 1967 the family moved to a new home in Greystanes, where I found out why the WOG thing ment...We Own Greystanes, lived there till 1983 when I got married and moved to Silverdale, lived there till 2004 when then I moved to sunny Penriff, Recently when I was on holiday in Malta when folk would ask me where I was from they all knew Greystanes.

Hey Glenn, been a long time since I've been back to Corowa. My mum grew up there and I visited there many times to see my Grandparents. Would love to go back there - perhaps on my way back to Victoria in September and then drop by Rutherglen for some fortifieds.

Born in Musswellbrook NSW, my family were a few of the lucky ones that managed to escape under the wire from the east coast & move to Perth, the land of milk & honey  :flag: . I love visiting the east coast ,  especialy QLD but there is no place like here at home. There are two kinds of folk in this world, those who live in the west & those who wanna live here  HAHA.
cheers Rob .

Hi Glenn

My Grandparents owned a farm about 20 kms out of town past the airport. They moved into town in the mid 60s and lived in Braintree Ave - down near the river at the clock tower end of town. The farm is called "Ringwood". I think it is owned by the Reneldsons or Davis's now. The homestead is still standing but I think it's vacant at the moment. I have great memories of my time roaming the paddocks when I was a kid.
