Guys,

One for those located in Brisbane

This is usually a very good turn out of all sorts of cars it's held in the Westpoint shopping center behind Hungry Jacks on Browns plains rd at Browns Plains.

Usually goes from about 5pm til 10pm every Saturday night weather permitting

Good spot as there is plenty of parking spots and good lighting etc .

Also, heaps of eatery's to choose a meal with the missus, kids, boyfriend, girlfriend or just with your dog for that matter. All are welcome.

All food groups are covered at this location:

Indian
Chinese
Thia
Kosomo's - Souvalaki bar

Ed and Lee,
Count me in too. (As long as it fits in with my sons' Soccer games)
Lee - how's your car progressing?
Cheers,
Bob

Yeah it's been a while now Bob, the car is now with Kenny Clarke, He has to re-quote the repairs (which should have been submitted this week),
the first repairer took over 3 months to submit his quote and either missed or under quoted some aspects of the repair, and therefore had to re-access his quote, so nothing was really happenning, so changed repairer and we had to start the process all over,  at least when Ken get the go ahead he can get stuck into it pretty much straight away.
I'm thinking of starting a re-build thread when we get going,  got a few ideas to do also while in the build.

OK in the interest of trying to get a little Stang get together happening (Lee we will pretend yours is there ..will be in spirit anyways)  - how about next Saturday night being the 11th May at say 6pm. Weather permitting.

We usually only stay long enough to have a look around and grab a bite to eat then bugger off back home to put the feet up, so it would not have to be a late night.

Let me know if that suits you guys.

I also notice that the club was promoting this event when I last jumped on the site.

Could be woth a phone call to the run coordinator just to list it I guess if you are on club rego ??

Either way Neil hope you can make it also ?

Hi HappyOne, Kosmos is listed in the MOCA Qld club magazine as an event of interest so that people with club rego can attend this venue.
P.S. I will try to come along on the 11th May.
Cheers Vic.

If I didn't plan on pulling some of it apart to design the injection you could have looked after it for me Neil.
or maybe I should drop it into the driving school Lancer. :evilone: :burnout:

Hi Lee, I remember when it happened. It seems so long ago I thought it would be back on the road by now.

I'm going to go down there at 5.45pm ---- we will hang about for awhile (30 - 60 minutes) if not many show up then we will grab a bite and come back home.

I only live 5 minutes down the road so no big deal. If any of you guys show up just look for the red vert white roof.

Cheers

There were still some nice cars there and it was good to meet a couple of the QLD guys that braved the weather which turned out okay in the end.

Ok,

It was a bit of a disapointing turn out becuase of the weather and also the new owners of the cafe which drives this gathering has not re-opened yet. But a small number of cars still managed to rolled up.

But nonetheless, it was good to catch up with Lee and meet USAtoAus.

We might leave it go for a 3-4 weeks to give the new owners of Kosimo's time to re-open and get into full swing again.

I will keep an eye on it and report back.

Then, if enough are interested we'll try again to all get together , we could also organise having a meal around a table at either the Thai cafe or Kosimo's for a good chat. When the time comes we can sort out those details.

Last night, we ended up having Thai food from the cafe there and it was pretty good, if you like Thai food.

Will keep you all posted.

Happyone.
