Hi all, my Boss 302 has a build date of 5 November 1969. I am seeking a dizzy and fuel pump for it in case someone on the forum has these. Appreciate any assistance.
Mark

that Carter X fuel pump from Okeeracer is wrong - it's a Carbureter housing, not a Carter.
I make reproduction Carter X fuel pumps for Boss 302's, 428CJ's, 429CJ's, 65/66 K-Codes so I can make one date coded for your car if you like?

428CJ or Boss 302 Carter X fuel pump, $350 plus shipping
Here's an example of a 428CJ one I did recently:

Here's the 4441S (obviously a B2 is 4910S...

Date code

Here's a few pics of my '66 K-Code or Shelby GT350 pumps. '65 have the screw-on can on the bottom, just waiting for some to come in, I'll post pics of them when they're available...

Thanks Pegasus. I am a bit wary of the Boss 302 dizzys and fuel pumps listed on ebay because of the comments I have seen on the Boss forum about copies being passed off as real. I appreciate the links however. If I see one that I am interested in that is not exorbitant in price I will get some advice from the forum experts.

Hi Jiffy, I saw your original message on the Boss forum and have kept you in mind. You do great work. I want to try and get a NOS one but if unsuccessful will be in contact.

... and as you note you are looking for date correct... these are pretty much mutually exclusive....  :smile01:

Have not seen a NOS X in a long time and if you found one for under $500-600 you would be lucky... most are remans... similar for dizzy's, an NOS one will be a grand easy...

You are right mert. Only this week I missed out on matching date code dizzy and carter fuel pump from a Boss forum member. Both for $1,700. He posted them online and they were gone in 15 minutes. Would have been perfect for me but I missed out.

Thanks Barry, I've got a couple of enquiries currently going in the states so will depend on that.

For a distributor you could try Tim O'Connnor.  He got me a correct '68 390, about as hard to find as a B302 one.  One year only and shared with 428's.

Also does top notch restorations if you find one needing some work.  Buy in the US, ship it to him, gets to you basically near new.

Thanks mert, I check his website from time to time as he generally has them listed in there. He charges about $1,800 for a B2 dizzy plus shipping

What's the difference between the Boss fuel pump and standard 302W pump from 1969?

I realise the housings are different.

The lever length also looks different, is the eccentric in a Boss engine different?

Difference in flowrate?

Flow-rate is probably higher, but you'd have to be seriously going some to use all the fuel from a standard pump. The pic above showing a complete are is for a 428CJ, a B2 pump looks the same but has an arm like the ones in the K-Code pumps pictured afterwards.
