The Bee. Bought it on the 30th of June 2007.  Took me a year to put the sting in it!

Cheers Bee

Mine was a 66 model 6cyl coupe that was given to me in 1986 (I was thirteen ) which needed, quite literally, everything. I was told that, if I wanted to have a car to drive when I got my driver's license,I had better get busy. I now have a 64 1/2 convertible that I've had for about 14 years. And no, I am not 40, I'm 39.95. My birthday isn't for another a week or so.

Nice shot of it George, keep us informed in your thread how you go with it.
I've only owned the one Mustang but I've been a big fan of them for many years. Have no plans to change it for anything else. Well unless of course I win the lottery and I'll gladly swap it for a B9.... and a Shelby 1000. Not being greedy am I?

My first Mustang, in fact my first classic American Muscle Car after I sold my FG F6 in 2009 was this Chestnut Metallic (one of only 368 in that colour) 70 Mach 1 M code.
I've since had a couple of other makes and am currently driving a 66 Mercury Cyclone GT 390 4 speed (see avatar) with a time capsule 66 Mercury Park Lane 410 under cover in the shed.
But for my next car, I'll have to come back to a 69 Mach 1 R code.

Love the yellow with the black stripes.

Thanks 66 Stang!  It definitely wasn't what I went looking to buy, but once we saw it we were hooked!!!

To be honest, we were looking for Tahoe Turquoise!

Yours is a really carefully finished car too!

Catch up soon.
Cheers Bee
