Sunday 7th April 2013 - Berowra Waters Brekky Run
This was set down for March but cancelled at the last minute due to bad weather so the run has not been well advertised.  It’s time again for our breakfast run which in the past has proven to be most popular.  Once again, we have put in place 2 meeting points, the first departure will be from Panthers Maccas, Penrith meeting at 8:00am and departing at 8:15am.  The second will be at McGraths Hill pub carpark for a 9:00am departure for Berowra. If you are coming from other areas, then aim to be at Berowra for about 9:30am.  Contact Events Team.

Wednesday 17th April, Monthly Meeting at Merrylands
We are back at Merrylands RSL this month.  Parking is a bit difficult with the multi storey car park closed off so get there a bit earlier and perhaps leave the Mustang at home this time.  The library parking area at the rear of the club has been opened for the use of RSL patrons but space is at a premium.  If you have a bike, come on that!

Sunday 21st April – Tourmaline Hotel, Vineyard
We do not have a flyer for this!  Just slip it into the diary and make sure you bring the Mustang, the family AND the great weather for an excellent day.  I will say no more as you all know how good this is with the hotel offering a wide selection of great value meals AND a great means of catching up with members.  Just be there!

Sunday 28th July All Ford Day, Eastern Creek
Tickets which are going VERY FAST and may even be fully booked but to make sure you get one, then send an email to the Events Team … PRONTO!

Sunday 18th August,  Shannons CMC, Eastern Creek
Ticket entry only with only 40 tickets available.  The $15 entry fee is on offer to attendees at the subsidised rate of $10.  Email the Events Team but be quick.

Newcastle's Prestige Motor Enthusiasts Event - space for over 300 vehicles + bikes, mini trucks, trade stalls, food and wine stalls, entertainment and rides.  Pre-Registration required, $15 per car.  All proceeds to worthwhile charities.  See website for further details and rego forms.

Sunday 14   Autobarn Maitland Show n Shine, (Hunter Valley Steamfest)   
Maitland Park, Devonshire Street, Maitland
One of the most popular activities on the Hunter Valley Steamfest program will be the Autobarn Maitland Show ‘n’  Shine with around 700 vehicles annually on display. The Show 'n' Shine will be held on Sunday 14 April 2013 in Maitland Park.  The Show ‘n’ Shine is run by the Maitland Street Rodders, with proceeds from vehicle entry donated to the Early Childhood Intervention Program.

The Committee apologies for the inconvenience in having to cancel the event in February due to wet weather.  - Get ready for some real action with the inaugural car show Summer City Rumble, they are expecting 250 Hot Rods, Rat Rods, and other models of cars on show in the Memorial Park and also in the Marine Parade car park.  Don't miss out on one massive day! Especially with the massive Show and Shine presentation commencing at 2pm.   There will be plenty of FREE entertainment from 9am with DJ Marty, Wes Pudsey, Sonic Aces and Elvis to the T!!      Open to all vehicles - Entry Fee $15.00, Enquiries: Chuck 0405 427 396

Sunday 28   Fuelarama (Australia vs USA Muscle Car Display)   
Foreshore Park, Newcastle
CARS PARKED BY 8:00 AM
An Australian muscle car vs USA muscle car display is being held in conjunction with the high octane Fuelarama Offshore Super Boat Championships event at Wharf Rd, Newcastle - between the brewery and the pilot’s station.    $500 prize money for best car on the day. Includes hot rods and bikes. $15 display entry, gold coin entry for spectators. All proceeds from the weekend go to the Variety Club Newcastle.   We are inviting all cars, not only muscle cars so bring them in and put them on display from 8am, watch the racing and enjoy with the family what promises to be a cracker weekend.
