Just putting it out there,

I live about 5 mins from both venues being used for the Nationals, if anyone has any breakdowns or needs assistance, chances are I'll be around and can lend a hand for repairs, got all the tools etc.

I will put my name up there with Denton. I have a workshop with 3 hoists to help out any Mustang owners coming to Perth for the Nationals. The workshop is in West Perth, Newcastle Street.

+1.... I am in the same suburb (approx 10 mins walk) from the show at the country club. I will be down there as well & also have accss to 2 hoists if needed.

Hi to the West Aussies,

We'll be driving over in a convoy of 3.

2 from Sydney and ourselves from Canberra.

We'll be arriving in Joondalup on Thursday afternoon and leaving at sparrows on Monday.

Had the car (2008 GT) checked out today and she's rearing to go!

I love the drive, we did it in our 65 convertible last time.

Hey guys, i am in Perth but i may need some assistance with storage for my project which will be displayed this weekend. if anyone has a spot in garage i can borrow friday night till sunday, please let me know. i am one of the organisers and i have trailer access on friday and sunday, but am going to be a headless chook over the weekend taking photos as official photographer, aswell as assisting things as the days go on.

Glad to see the convoy arrived safe today, welcome to the west folks. Had a quick chat to a nice guy in the carpark & it turned out to be Kym (president of MOCA), must say what a friendly chap he is. Good to hear there wern't to many dramas on the trip over so now it's settle back & enjoy the hospitality & the great weather we have ordered for the nationals lol. cheers Rob

Yes... Kym and Tony are both great blokes, and the weather is superb.

Tomorrow there will be lots of action out in the car park as we prepare the cars.

Somebody did provide the use of a hoist to clean the undercarriage of the Blue Mach 1. I did not go over to Wangara to assist in the cleaning so I do not know who it was, but a big thank you for the assistance - whoever it was

The problems with Tony`s Boss also appear to be fixed. Kym brought a Distributor over on the plane. It needed a bit of tweaking to fit it, but Tony, Ron, Steve, Jeremy and Brad all hooked in and got the car going again.

great offers by all WA members. need more of that kind of stuff between all clubs and members. im in town now, staying around the corner from host hotel doing my cleaning and polishing on the 66 gt convertible.
will probably see a few familiar faces friday morning for registration then its back to the car for a final once over.

wish eveyine who is in town a great weekend. looks like the weather is going to be a hum dinger temp wise.

We are still out in the car park - just look for the Blue and Red Mach 1`s parked together.

Having chronic problems at the moment getting the Red Mach 1 running on 8 cylinders. Bugger - was running sweet until we removed the distributor to get another car running. We brought another distributor over on the plane, fitted it an hour or so back - but now it is running rough as guts. Hopefully just a tooth out. Still mucking around with it.

Otherwise things are calm in the car park now after a hectic day of cleaning.
