Big fan, that looks awesome.

Was thinking of plasti dipping the centre section of mine to see what it looked like but i don't know how it would look against the Acapulco Blue.

Took my 65 vert for a two and half hour drive in the Sydney heat and beachside traffic, it didn't miss a beat. After nearly four years of listening to forum advice (thanks) and making changes I think I finally have it handling just nice, koni shocks, kings kffl-59 front springs, 1" front sway bar, rebuilt std front end, five leaf mid eye rear springs and 17" wheels with 235/45 and 215/45 Pirelli tyres.  Recently had the wheels balanced and adjusted the std steering box.  Cooling is a four core radiator, larger fan with large shroud, coolant overflow tank and tefbar coolant filter. All pretty simple stuff but it is working well. Had a great day of cruising.

MOCA Vic was invited to supply a few cars to be displayed with a WW2 Mustang which is undergoing restoration. This was part of the Tyabb Airshow which is one of the larger regional airshows.

Replaced the convertible top hoses.........and cracked off the whole female fitting on a hydraulic cylinder  ahhhhhhhhhhh.  Didn't use much force so I think the oil residue on the outside of it was an indication that it was split already.

Just changed the front drum brakes to discs. What a bugger of a job to change the pedal but well worth it. Now it stops!

Fitted an electronic distributor, new leads and plugs.  The car now idles correctly and runs smoothly for the first time since buying it early January.

Also fitted a dual master cylinder for some piece of mind in a daily driver with my kids regularly in the car.

Nothing...

Wish I had a timeframe for my two week old 2016 Hos to come out from Ford fixed so I can actually do something to the car... Drive it and increase the km count from 31km!

Finally got around to installing the Borgeson power steering. Was a bigger job than I thought. Left side header had to come out to give the old box and new box space to go in and out. It ended up being a tight fit with the 351 and headers but there should be enough clearance between the box, hoses and exhaust not to cause issues. Worked well with the front wheels off the ground  bleeding the system. Test drive tomorrow.

Wow what a difference. nice and light even at idle. Well worth the effort.

Put it back into the shed after 2 weeks and 4000 klms to the Nationals.
Had a great trip, it used about 500ml of oil and 500ml of water for the trip and used between 12 and 13 litres per hundred klms.
Pretty pleased as the motor has been in it since the early 90s. 289 with 600 Holley and extractors.
