Appreciate it. Thank you. :thumb:

Postage would be no probs. I was looking into a clutch from Modern Driveline in the US so need to pay post no matter what. Will see what he has to offer.

He works it out as he goes along, he getts the flywheel and works out what he can fit on it,  if he has something there he can build, he will or if not he will buy something disassemble it and blue print it, swap the diapram etc, what ever it takes.

Got the pony door clips on Misty. Another job done. Boy I'm running hot. Might try and get the tacho on the Seducer hooked up on Monday.

Changed the diff centre to 3.7 ratio ,going to willowbank raceway 1/4 mile drags in 2 weeks ,4.11 would have been better but no good on the hwy . If i had a 750 holley carby lying around i would have  fit that as well . If i would spend the money i would fix my auto as well so it would go into top gear without having to  back to off so it would go in to 3rd gear no problems .       :burnout:  ps anyone else want to go .

I replaced the upper control arms on my 65 yesterday, and then gave it a rough alignment to get the toe correct. Now everything is nice and tight like it should be.

I was going to replace the fuel gauge sender as well, but the alternator in my daily died so I had to fix that instead.

I fitted the windscreen, inserted the new fuel pump, adjusted the windows to clear the new convertible top. I have swapped the bumper guards over to the correct sides and laid the underlay for the carpet. The wiring is now being sorted out.

Bought a new front bumper and four new brackets, new exterior mirrors and thin grill trim to finish off the cosmetics...
Going to visit the panel shop next Tuesday to check out how it's coming along, hopefully they're not far off spraying some midnight blue!

That poor wallet is getting a little worn out, it might be time for a new one.. Hopefully the next one will have cash in it!

Fitted the new indicator switchgear/wiring down the steering column, and new (the right) steering wheel boss/adapter so everything works properly now (after a doing couple of fuses and chasing one of those electrical gremlins  :smash:).  While I was there I spun the steering column outer tube 180 degrees so the indicator stalk is on the right hand side - only needed a hole drilled for the locator tab on the bracket that bolts up to the dash.

Got locked out, found the rear window moulding is not fitted correctly letting water in, the front tyre has a slow leak letting air out and too much oil on the garage floor under the engine - nothing good really!

Why not get 20L or VP racing fuel and wick up the timing a bit.

Shaun ,Mustangpaul thought i should use that HP sauce ,but is it BBQ sauce  And no to VP fuel ,its only 9.5 comp and 34 deg . As i have said just going on a club day for a bit of fun , and if i was worried then the VP fuel ,timing up to around 36 ,a 750 holley ,a air gap intake ,aftermarket fuel pump ,big hi stall ,low diff gears ,and slicks . then  :burnout:   all over the place .  :smile01:

more like WHAT IT DID TO ME...
overhauling rear drums this arvo and attempted to release a brake shoe spring, slipped and opened my thumb joint up big time on the nicely sharp wheel arch lip.
there was more claret on the floor than a wine press and game over for the day.
the bastard bit me good dammit....
when a 3 month engine rebuild turns into 3 year bare metal resto.
you get that .....

Ive been the past 4 weeks reconfiguring my donk, removed the 205 AFR heads and replaced with the smaller 185 heads, off with the Crane Roller rockers, on with a set of Jesels, replaced the inlet manifold and ditching the trusty old Rottie for a Holley HP750 Ultra on a Victor Jr, all port matched, tuned the carbie yesterday, and tomorrow the dizzy gets a spring change and a but more advance, and the result so far is very pleasing, the only thing I cant pass not is a Servo!
