In my 66 coupe, I had the rear wheel brake cylinders replaced with the correct size, new brake drums, and new brake shoes.  No more rear brake lock ups! :pepper:

I also replaced all 4 shocks, had the upper and lower ball joints checked and greased.

Replaced a brake light bulb.  :thumb:

Now I need someone who wants a Wimbledon White 66 coupe to love and care for to come and buy her from me.

I just can't keep her because when I move into my new place next year there's no room for 3 Mustangs.

She's a lovely car and I wish I could keep her.

Pulling out the old radiator and replacing it with an upgraded larger Ali one. Also replacing the 4 blade fan with correct 6 bladed fan  - will require a bit of modification to spacer size etc. (Lee to the rescue on that one !)

wish me luck !

Some good news, the mechanic has installed my wipers, and is set on the installation of the top. nearly ready for carpet and seats etc.  :pepper:

Late edit the convertible top was almost finished when I saw the car yesterday. I believe the mechanic likes this part of the work, gone so far from hearing the rust roll from one side of the car to the other on the rotisserie

Wow! It'll be very interesting to hear how it is to use. My 428 had a 3 armed Ram clutch which from what I could find was 2800 pounds and it was extremely heavy. Very on/off too. It'll be great to hear how you find the diaphragm style.

Should be ok, I've had 2600 lb ones from Jim and they feel like almost like a normal clutch, he changes where the diaphram pivots some how to increase the clamp I think. Not real expensive, I just got a high copper organic plate, didn't want a ceramic button job. Jim took one look at the Ram one I had and said those things are crap and chucked it in the skip, he hates those lever ones. He does alot of the V8 Brute race ute clutches, drift cars etc.

Have you got a link? I need a new one as I wont be putting that heavy Ram 3 pronged thing back it. It also chewed out the new flywheel a fair bit too.

He would need your flywheel as well, he had to redrill mine. Would cost you a bit to post it to him in Brisbane, due to the wieght.
