347 crate engine?
« on: February 11, 2013, 10:47:31 pm »
Hi everyone,
I'm new here and have just purchased my first Mustang, although I'm waiting for it to be delivered to me.
It's a 66 coupe with original 289, I'm thinking of a 347 crate engine and was wondering what is out there?
Is buying one from the US a good thing?
Thanks in advance for any help.

Welcome Henzak to the forum .I also have a 66 coupe with a 347 stroker ,now there are 347 stroker crate engines and 347 stroker crate engines . Dont go for the cheap crap ones on e bay ,the more you spend the better engine you get .Maybe a ford racing ,but i really dont know but nothing with pro comp  on or in it is a good start .

Fast
Reliable.

But you can only choose 2...

1969 Cougar Eliminator (Sadly sold)
1972 Gran Torino Sport (Sold)
