Would anyone be interested in an annual Mustang Owners Club Dyno Competition ???????
I can organise the venue and Dyno so if I was to do this ( Competition would be held in early 2008) would we have any takers .
My thoughts were that we could invite other clubs and have a sossage sizzel set .

Where would you hold it? Xspeed is always good for "accurate" readouts.
Of course i use the quotes because no dyno runs are going to be 100% accurate to what the horsepower output actually is and its a tuning tool rather than a wang-ruler. =P

300horses at the wheels is what you have to beat people! ;)

That would be Asses (cross between horse and donkey) at your wheels because it is the Soarass that you are driving. Sam tells me that you can only measure in Horses if you have a Mustang for this comp.

lets see, I have one on the grill, one on each of the fenders, one on the gas cap, one on the glovebox cover, one on the radio, one on the horn, put them together with the ones under the bonnet and i should be able to scrape through 207 HP!!!:w

oh and thers one on each of the wheel trims!!! thats a huge 211 Horses

If I cut some holes in the floor I could get 4 people power (Fred Flintstone Style :w)....not sure on the conversion rate to horses thou :+

what a great idea whiplash i'm a definite starter for that depending on when of course but it will be interesting to see how powerful old bluey is not. still sounds like a V8 though;y

Nassi i have been O/S - USA / Peru

Went to a great mustang show in long beach CA

looked at a 681/2 fast back for 73k USD ---------------------------- Just a little to pricey but very close to the mark.

Sounds nice, but waayyyy off the mark for me. But then I'm a cheap skate at the best of times.

I wanna hear this puppy back in your car and see how quick it gets you moving! ;)

Back on topic however, would you guys all mind if i tagged along to the dyno day? I'd love to see what the different engines put out at the wheels.
I am starting to go a little flacid over my plans for a 351w in (if i get my act together to get one soon!) a Mach1 i hope to buy =x

Callum, you will find your more than welcome at any of the events. Its not a closed shop mate.
But if you get a Mach1 I probably wont speak to you again :+ well not until I have one .
