Victorian Hot Rod show
« on: January 23, 2013, 02:59:31 pm »
Is anyone wanting to cuise into the Royal Exhibition Building for the hot rod show on Sunday.

Display cars need to be in between 8:00 and 9:00 so we'll need to head off pretty early.   :lmao:

I'm leaving from the SE suburb of East Brighton if anyone is coming from that direction.

Anthony.

Cruising in myself from Longford via Eastlink with Letsgocruisin' on SATURDAY. We will have our cars on display around the fountain outside the main entrance.  :burnout:

Johno, will see you on Saturday and will be in the 38, Anthony, I will be using the Monash on Sunday and plan to be in there by around 8:00 am. I am also heading in there shortly to help assemble the Bay Rodders stand.

Nick, I am keenly looking fwd to the Hot Rod Show. However, if we get any heavy rain or 40 C heat down here, I will stay in Longford. Actually, I hope it pours here as it is getting to be like a desert with no rain at all for about 6 weeks now. My grass crunches when you walk on it. Still have about 1/2 of a 42,500 litre tank of water but having to use some of it sparingly to keep shrubs alive. My bore trickles about 20 or 30 litres a day then virtually stops after about 10 minutes. I have suggested sharing shower duties with herself but just got that old deadpan stare....frightening really.
Ideally a nice sunny Saturday with around 25 C then rain for 3 or 4 days would be excellent but .........................?  :thumb:
