2013 Dakar

Anybody else here get into watching the Dakar? I love it but I was hoping that this year SBS would show more then just the highlights at 5:30. Does anybody else know of other ways to catch more of it daily?

I found the live updates but thought for sure there would be other shows or segments whatever you could watch elsewhere on the interwebs maybe?

Watch it every year. Love it. Missed out on going last year as a crew member. Maybe one day.
Got a mate riding in it this year on a Quad. Paul Smith. Keep an eye out for him. Very fast man!!!

Man, that would be the trip of a lifetime. Hope you get to do it one day, that would be amazing.

Great to see a heap of Aussies in it. I was watching some clips this arvo of Simon Pavey getting ready for it. His bike looks so smooth. I'd say I'll be pretty glued to the live updates. I'm bad enough with MotoGP over the year but this is a crazy fortnight of racing.

Yea he did well last night for a water carrier!! Think there was 4 ozzie's inside the top 20 on last nights stage!!!

Been waiting all week for this day, Knew he had it in him.
Keep an eye out for Ben Grabham. Think he may well wind the wick up now in the bike section. all the boys are in the top 50.  and 3? in the top 20!! AWSOME!! Ben is on his first real ride back after a massive accident last year hitting a roo at about 140kph!! Lucky to be walking.

Not wrong, they are all slowly creeping up the standings. The terrain they are in now is much more like home. This is going to be a real good ending!! It's bloody awesome to see not one, but a whole group of Aussies doing really well!!
