It's the same with my Torana, it doesn't stack up to the ones at events but I still take it along and the odd person does get interested in it. It has a bit of a 'survivor' appeal to it.

What time do cars start to turn up. Is the next one on this Saturday. There is a good chance I will be able to make it.

I don't like to be a wet blanket but a word of warning for those on Club Plates (Historic Registration) ...

The "Sanction Number" only applies to members of the club which is organising the event - so, if not a member of the Romans Hot Rod Club, then it is not a sanctioned run.....

To be a sanctioned run for MOCA members, MOCA needs to receive an invite to the event (the flyer would probably suffice) AND, the run needs to be listed in the Pony Express magazine as an event.  The events listed in the magazine are then replicated on the NSW Coming Events web site page.

IF the event is listed on the Forum or in other media pages (facebook and twitter) then it does not constitute an invite to the event.

The good thing is that the Events team will always try and include as many of these invites as possible for the benefit of members on Historic Plates but, if the Events Team do not get told of an event, then it is difficult for them to include it in our listing.

As I say, not wanting to be a wet blanket and, I have enjoyed many nights at Sylvania with the Romans as it is a great night but please, if on MOCA sponsored Club Plates (Historic Rego), just be careful that the run is correctly endorsed by MOCA.

The Forum Administrators will not place invites onto the MOCA Forum until the Events team authorise it (noting CPU has only provided the old flyer for information purposes).

yes it is a very nice 65 of barry's, ill have to tell him his car got on our forum.
the romans boys are very accommodating of our mustangs and some of there rod's are just beautiful machines, when they fire up at the end of the night everybody takes notice!      i dug the blue Xp van with 2 kids seats up front - very cool, and yeah that galant is kickass with a 308 wedged in there.
thanks stephen for putting our cars up
griff.
