WTB. Holley Brass fuel fitting
« on: October 30, 2012, 05:25:17 pm »
Has anyone got one of these they can sell me..............I have a brand new carb for my car & it has a split brass fuel fitting.

the carb was damaged in transit   :ouch: .....the fitting is split

I have sat it back in just loosely so you can see where it goes & where it needs to fit, it goes into the front bowl & feeds the transfer pipe....anything to get me out of strife will be great....cheers Dale

I am no Holley expert but I can tell you, it is a brand new reissue of the Holley originally used on the GT350 . They have LeMans Bowls which use centre pivot floats to help with fuel surge whilst cornering at high speed ( not that my car will see that )...Manual choke.

Shame to see that damage Dale, you should be able to find one reasonably quickly I would think.

The carb supplier is sending me the parts to put it right. I need to get some different PCV parts because it plumbs into the manifold....so once I have all the bits I will fit it up and let you know how it goes..  :thumb:

Mate...wish I could but have my car in Brad B's wedding tomorrow.....otherwise I would love to have called in. I need to find a fitting to screw in the inlet manifold for the PCV hose to go on.....with the 600 holley it fits to the base of the carb, the new carb will need to be like in the picture.

yes Glenn basic item, easy to buy, but I am a small business owner who is stuck in his shop all day everyday 5 1/2 days a week & never gets to leave. Hence most of my purchases are done online, when I am not at work most places are shut...... :ouch:
