Not sure if there has been a previous post on this web site but if you have a spare 30 min their is a mustang restorer that operates out of East Dundee Illinois and produces his own Mustang show. He calls himself the Doc. Its not a professional film crew but each week he presents a 30 min show on How To's and Mustang restorations in progress.
Episode 3
Episode Three - Operation Mustang Web Show
has a good description of what can happen with rust and a Mustang convertible. Obviously being the northern part of the US rust is a usual repair.
Anyway I have been enjoying watching the episodes and though you might also.
