G'Day, i've never used this forum before I am a GT Falcon owner (hope thats ok)and I love all Fords.

I just wanted to ask if mustangs are worth more to sell with their original engine like in the GT Falcon world or does it simply not matter in the eyes of everyone here. I am specifically enquiring about a 1967 GTA.

The reason I ask is that I may be doing a trade orig eng for orig eng my Falcon XT and a 67 GTA. I don't want to exchange money just short engines, would that be fair for both owners?

Ps your site is very user friendly
Cheers Ryan

Hi Ryan, welcome aboard. The early Mustangs unlike our Falcon or GT's did not actualy have an engine number, so if the engine is of the correct type and the date code  is right it should not affect the value of the Mustang.
For reg in australia most are now stamped but are not necessarily original.
