a little help
« on: August 09, 2012, 10:45:35 am »
Hi guys,

I've done my homework and cannot seem to figure this one out so I hope you don't mind me asking here.

I want to hire a Mustang for 1-3 days (depending on price) for my husband. It's been his dream to drive a Mustang in Australia and now we're here, I want to surprise him with it. The plan is to take the car from Perth to Jurien Bay and back in October.

He's an excellent, highly trained driver (and Registered Driving Instructor).

I'm looking to gain major wife points here, so could anyone point me in the right direction for this kind of hire?

Many thanks and kind regards,

Naomi

Hmmm....

Well, first, let me say if you can manage it - yep, MAJOR wife points (love your thinking!)

Probably going to have a go with a specialist car hire company though (none of the international brands ie. Hertz/AVIS have them in the fleet)

I'm on the opposite side of Australia, so don't know any local companies -  and the google search I tried only lists "chauffer-driven" mustangs - but maybe you can come to an arrangement or they can point you in the right direction.

You will get even more points if you buy him one !   :pepper:

But was it a vintage Mustang or a late model one you wanted ?

I am sure there are companies that hire them self-drive - at least in Melbourne. You can hire exotics like Porsches and Lambos , so I would imagine Mustangs too.

Try these guys :

Mustang Topless Convertibles
Limousine & Car Hire Services
77 Paterson Rd, Mt Nasura WA 6112, Australia

Good luck !

Cheers,
Frank.
