Have heard that Alan Moffat is to be at the opening of a new tyre store at 215 Stirling Highway this Sat morning 28/7/12. Go down & see if you can give him your autograph !!:hope:

The second best you have got to be kidding, with all the crap he had to put up with Ford all through his career,  and the results he acheived after all that  he’s a legend.  

Moffat will always be my number 1.  :thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb::thumb:

I wonder if this thread will grow legs with opinions :smile01::smile01:

One of my great memories!
Was asked to display my coupe at the opening of a local tyre store a couple of years ago.
The great man had a good look and chatted about his coke / brut mustang days.
A real people guy.
Took me by suprise!

I caught him about a year ago at an FPV launch. He was quite happy to sign autographs and have a few words with everyone.

We had Jim Richards talk at the Vic MOCA meeting a couple of weeks ago and he talked about his early Mustang racing and competition with Allan Moffat.
