hi,

i have a grant sterring whell on my coupe...

i was wondering what is the best way to look after is....

and tips or past pitfalls would be greatly appriecated..

If you have the Deluxe replica,which is made of real wood,then I suppose you have 2 options.Either give it a wipe with Mr Sheen every couple of months or just leave it alone and let the oils from your hands protect the wheel. BTW, hands up those with the Deluxe wheel and have a small piece at 9 o'clock cracked off!! LOL.

Yep I know what you mean about at 9 o'clock.  Does anyone were to go to have it repaired.
Have now converted the other half into doing some of the Concours washin, cleaning & polishing stuff!!!!!!!!

Yep that damn 9:00 piece. How about somewhere to get the small stainless disks that go around the rim (fake rivets)
I did see somewhere some instructions on using body filler to fill the missing 9:00 piece, then when dry use a wire brush to put some grain back in. obviusly then paint the whole rim, masking around the edge, and the rivets. Havent tried it though.

I used Knead It myself.Couldn't get a match on the colour though.
