Hey Gretschem,

Being a painter you'll appreciate the work in restoring, ive just finished the mechanicals on mine and now just need to tidy up the paint work.

Let me know if you do cash jobs on the side, I have a 66 Coupe Im wanting to get some touch up work done.

Got some parts delivered from Tony Branda yesterday.

I've decided on a Shelby clone.

I'm going to paint it Raven black with white stripes. I'm also painting the GT350 stripes...

regards

it will come, dont stress....usually it is because they are waiting for three other cars to be ready to go in the one container with yours........mostly they send four in the one container, this means eveybody else has to get their s#it together at the same time, so they are all ready together

This is basically what I do...

I started with a foam wash of CG Maxi Suds in my foam lance. While that that was foaming I sprayed my wheels with CG WHEEL+RIM CLEANER ORANGE GEL. I then high pressure washed the whole vehicle.

I then mixed some Maxi Suds and CW&G and washed the whole car with a MF Mitt.
Then high pressure washed all the suds off, then I towel dried the whole car with a HUGE SUV SIZE FAST DRY WAFFLE WEAVE Microfiber Drying Towel, these towels are great I have a few of them.

Once the whole car was dry I drove it into my garage and started claying.

Then I tackled it with my DAS-6 Dual Action Polishing Machine.

First I used Menzerna Intensive Polish PO 91L on an orange Lake Country 6.5" polishing pad.

I then followed that with Menzerna Final Polish PO85U with a white Lake Country 6.5" polishing pad.

I went around the vehicle one more time with a black Lake Country 6.5" polishing pad and DoDo Juice Lime Prime.

Buy this stage the car was looking great, and I was very happy with my results.

I then apllied DoDo Juice Purple Haze by hand over the complete vehicle, once that hazed I removed it with an ELITE ULTRA-PLUSH SUPER PREMIUM MICROFIBRE CLOTH.

I then drove the vehicle back outside for a wash and was blown away by what I had achieved.

It basically took me all day to do the correction.

I really like the DoDo Juice products, I have just received DoDo Supernatural Wax & Supernatural Shampoo.

You've got some sort of alignment problem there, it looks like they have some decent tread yet the insides are all chewed out.

OMG, you must be very fit, I'd never get through all that work!

Nice collection of parts to go on the car, I'm sure it will look great if you treat it the same way you look after the ute.

Looks like the ute was parked outside Penrith Wholesale Suspensions in the earlier pics, they did a great job on my vert.

Good luck with it.

Cheers Bee
