Can I interest you in a 69 Mach 1 for $27000? No trans but has about $5000 worth of spares.

Brand new Magnum 500's and BF Goodrich tyres

It's in Adelaide :thumb:

Hi shopony Is this the car that is located in a chaps garage at Wynn Vale?

You might want to call in at work or ring Jeremy about the car, as we may be interested.

EDIT - Just spoke with Ron " The Hoff ". He is interested in the Mach1. will send you a private message with his phone no.

mustangsammy, We have a 68 Fastback here in Adelaide.

It is a project car with a 289 V8 and C4 Auto.Has not been running for a long time. Car was imported by a chap at Burton a couple of years ago. He needed to sell in order to buy another house and we bought it off him.

It is on our long list of cars waiting to be restored. It does have some rust underneath, but you could buy it at the right price - eg slightly under 18k.

Car is located at Pooraka. If you are interested we could put it up on our hoist for you to inspect.

If interested send me a private message.

mustangsammy, here is a Thread by the original Importer ( DazP ) -

http://www.mustang.org.au/forum/viewthread.php?tid=9762

Car is still in Primer. I wrote that it has a C4 Auto, but upon reading the above Thread it is listed in fact as a 3spd manual. Hmm... Not sure about that, will have to look closer this morning.
Went down to the factory and had a look at it yesterday arvo. Looks like the previous owner had the drivetrain out of the car and just sat it back in the engine bay. Nothing is connected.
Will take and post some photos later this morning, but the car is sitting not 20feet from the hoist. If you are interested just come down and we will roll it out and even put it on the hoist for you to check out.
There is some  rust underneath which will require some good welding skills to repair.

When you post the pics, do you mind making sure there are some of the floor rust.
Thanks,
Sam.

Funny things happen.

Chap called in late this morning to see the car and bought it.

Sorry mustangsammy, you will need to keep looking.

I agree with BLK65,

I spent a long time looking. budget started around the same money. Seemed they all were going to cost a bomb to bring up to spec.

I just got mine a few months ago.. No rust, matching panels, gun barrel straight. cost me 480 to RWC. for the extra, it was more than worth it. Had its first outing at the claytons and got great feedback.

I think you need to work out your total spend and look for one close to that. There will always be extras, but thats the beauty of a mustang, you just have to make it better.

good luck

john
