Hi All,
After washing my 65 coupe on the weekend I noticed a small leak coming in from under the dash (suspect windscreen). fearing the worst I pulled back the carpet to view the floor pans and although slightly damp I was relieved to find nothing major other than a couple of surface rust spots. I am now thinking that it wouldn't be a bad idea to treat the area with a rust preventative treatment. Has anyone completed this process and if so what product do you recommend?
Step two is finding and fixing the leak..

Penetrol oil, locks out oxygen and moisture, flexible yet dries hard unlike fish oil

It would either be the windscreen or inside the cowl area. I would cover the cowl vents with some plastic and marsking tape. Hit the winscreen with a blast of water and check for leaks. If that is all clear then try the cowl with the hose on low pressure.
