Hi everybody, I have a question. I have installed a MSD electronic ignition system and was wondering if my car has a ballist resistor or not as it had points on it when I bought it, if so where would it likely to be found.
Thanks Tyrone

Hi Tyrone.
yes your car will have the resistor.
there should be a pink resistor wire between the ignition switch and the coil. easiest thing to do is bypass that wire with a wire going between your ignition and connecting it to the green/red stripe wire at the ignition switch.
Cheers,
Frank.
