dumb question:  Its my understanding that the headlights have to be change because they point the wrong way....so adjusting the aiming screws wont do it?  It is the actual lights?  If this is the case, why cant you just flip the lights over (they are round)?  What am I missing?

Well I may be dumb as well, but if a headlight is designed so that it projects light to aim to the ground and if you turn it upside down, it will project it to the moon......

Meaning the projected beam will be upside down .

Zinko, the Aus compliance lights filter up to the left side then sharply up to project light on the left foot path.  The US lights filter up to the right side for their driving, so using them here means that drivers coming the other way are blinded by the way the light is projected up.  Drive it up against a wall and see how the light projects.
